There are no public meetings scheduled today. I’ll post short updates during the day if there is information to report.

The Hamilton Conservation Authority posted the following two notices to its website this morning.

Christie Lake:  “Following the July 29 fire that heavily damaged two conservation area buildings, some facilities and services remain affected. Portable washrooms are available at the beach area and the former Lakeside Pavilion site to support both washroom access and changing needs. Flush washrooms and drinking water are available at the Marina Pavilion. Boat rentals are not available at this time.”

Fifty Point: “Recent storms have impacted sections of the trail system at Fifty Point Conservation Area. Visitors are asked to use extra caution and be mindful of changing trail conditions while staff assess the trails and complete any necessary repairs.”
