Academic Study Finds Power Stretchers Significantly Decreases Paramedic Injuries
An academic study lead by a University of Waterloo graduate student shows the implementation of powered stretcher and load systems significantly decreases stretcher-related musculoskeletal injuries among paramedics, and the increased costs of power stretchers can be expected to be fully recovered over a seven-year period.
