Former Hamilton Centre Member of Parliament Matthew Green is the Amalgamated Transit Union’s new Political and Communications Specialist.
The transit union announced the hire in a November 3, 2025, press release.
Green lost his seat in April’s federal election, placing third in Hamilton Centre as the NDP vote collapsed across the country. The NDP went from 24 seats in Parliament to only seven seats.
Green is expected to contest for the Hamilton Centre seat in the next federal election.
