The agendas for next week’s Council General Issues Committee and Planning Committee meetings are expected to be released later today. This should be the most interesting thing to occur at City Hall today.

Here’s the list of today’s meetings:

Police Services Board Governance (9:00 a.m.)

Creating a governance work plan and how to deal with time-sensitive correspondence are the two agenda items.

Agenda 

Audit, Finance and Administration Committee – DC Hearing (9:30 a.m.)

The City has only released that this is a development charges appeal, and the address is 198 and 206 Kellogg Ave.

Ontario Land Tribunal

1400 South Service Road (10:00 a.m.)

Day two of the nine-day hearing regarding a proposed mixed-use (primarily residential) proposal for designated employment lands at 1400 South Service Road in Stoney Creek.

Daryl Keleher, a RPP and land economist, will be on the stand all-day as an expert witness for the developer.

The hearing is by videoconference.

Coffee With Hamilton Chief Librarian Paul Takala (12 noon – Red Hill Library)

Hamilton Public Library Chief Librarian and CEO Paul Takala will be at the Red Hill branch between 12 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. It is an open invitation to the public to sit down and chat with him about anything libraries.
