The Hamilton Public Library’s art collection now includes Ron Eady’s painting “The Core”.
The 120″ by 90″ painting was donated to the Library by the artist through Earls Court with the assistance of MP Bob Bratina.
The art is presently displayed on the first floor of the Central Branch.
“We’re thrilled to have such a wonderful work that celebrates Hamilton at Central Library,” says library director of communications Melanie Southern. “The space complements the work so well, and we have received numerous positive comments.”
A formal event to thank the artist will be held in the next few weeks.
