Five heritage permits will be reviewed at this meeting. All of them are routine.

McMaster University, University Hall: McMaster plans to upgrade the ventilation system in this nearly 100-year-old building. The work was approved by the City of Hamilton in 2022 but not completed by December 31, 2024, as required in the previous approval.

235 Bowman Street, Former Princess Elizabeth School: Yeshiva of Hamilton is requesting permission to replace existing corroded steel windows with new wood and aluminum window frames in a similar design.

2463 Hwy 5 West, Flamborough (The Lochner Cottage): The application is for the demolition of the existing non-designated structure on the property, and the construction of a new single-family home in a similar location. The Cottage is not affected by the changes.

3 Union Street, Waterdown: An application within the Mill Street Heritage Conservation District to construct a one-storey detached garage.

The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday by video conference. (Here are the links for the agenda, and the YouTube live stream.)
