Hamilton Street Railway Director Maureen Cosyn Heath says the implementation plan for the transit agency’s complete revamp of bus routes is “coming soon.”
In January, Cosyn Heath stated the implementation plan was scheduled to be presented in April.
The plan has a new brand, “HSR Next Network.”
Asked if the new routes will be implemented this September, Cosyn Heath said there will be “regular service changes, not necessarily part of the HSR Next Network.”
In January, Cosyn Heath said the implementation of the new route network would be gradual. She hinted that the new crosstown Rapid Limited Stop routes could be implemented first.
These five routes will connect main hubs, including all three GO stations, Eastgate Square, Lime Ridge Mall, Mohawk College and McMaster University.
