On Monday, Ward 2 Councillor Cameron Kroetsch announced the Hamilton Waterfront Trust will be dissolved and absorbed by the City.
In his announcement, he wrote that during the transition, harbour cruises will continue.
The City is presently considering three bids to operate cruises on its behalf.
There is no timeline provided by the City for its decision.
