The Ontario Land Tribunal has approved the settlement agreement between the City of Hamilton and Shaver Road M.D. Holdings Inc.

The agreement permits 22 townhouses on the Ancaster property, down from the 36 units originally applied for.

Hamilton City Council intended to deny the application, and the ownership group filed a non-decision appeal before Council voted.

The development will have 39 parking spaces.
