Ontario Land Tribunal (10:00 a.m.)
A nine-day hearing begins on Tuesday for a proposed mixed-use (primarily residential) proposal for designated employment lands at 1400 South Service Road in Stoney Creek.
Dave Aston, a registered professional planner with MHBC, will provide the overview of facts during the morning session. Aston will return to the ‘stand’ on Friday to provide evidence on behalf of the developer.
Eldon Theodore, a RPP with MHBC who specializes in urban design and sustainability, will be on the stand in the afternoon to provide evidence on behalf of the developer and will be cross-examinated following his submission.

Day two of the nine-day hearing regarding a proposed mixed-use (primarily residential) proposal for designated employment lands at 1400 South Service Road in Stoney Creek.
Daryl Keleher, a RPP and land economist, will be on the stand all-day as an expert witness for the developer.

Professional ecologist Ken Glasbergen will return to the stand in the morning. Dave Aston, a registered professional planner with MHBC, will begin his testimony in the second-half of the morning session and remain on the stand in the afternoon. Both are expert witnesses for the developer.

This is a settlement hearing regarding a minor variance “to permit a residence in the basement of retreat facility.”
