Construction Canada reported “AECOM, a global infrastructure consulting firm, has been appointed by Metrolinx as technical advisor for the Hamilton Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, a 14-km (8.7-miles) transit line in Hamilton, Ontario.”

Is this being payed for with the $1B already invested, or coming from another source of revenue (i.e. taxpayers)?
They will be paid out of the $3.2-billion LRT budget.
