Every five years, Hamilton City Council passes a new development charges bylaw, and it is appealed to the Ontario Land Tribunal.
This occurs in all large municipalities.
The 2024 appeal is assigned case number OLT-24-000687.
TPR will file a series of information requests to the Ontario Land Tribunal next week and will request the appeal package for this file.
Hamilton’s 2019 development bylaw appeal remains in front of the Tribunal.
