The citizen-majority Council Rental Housing Committee meet on January 30th and it will a lively meeting as the committee debated creating a voluntary rental housing registry.
After heated and difficult debate, the committee voted 7-5 to move forward with the voluntary registry. Of particular note on this vote – well respected rental housing advocate John Hawker and citizen member Nigil Warren both voted against the proposal.
