CityHousing Hamilton will spend over $130,000 to repair a townhouse unit at 830 Roxborough Avenue that was significantly damaged in a July 1, 2025 structure fire.
At the time, the Hamilton Fire department estimated damage to be in the range of $300,000. The Hamilton Police arson unit investigated the fire due to suspicious circumstances.
No further updates were provided regarding the case or the police investigation.
In October 2025, CityHousing Hamilton applied for a building permit for the repairs, and stated a $130,000 value for the permit.
