Hamilton’s Board of Health was disrupted by an older white man who walked into the Council Chamber and began a hateful, vitriolic rant containing anti-Semitic, Islamophobic, homophobic, racist, and transphobic comments.
The incident marks the second time in recent months that hateful speech has disrupted a Hamilton council meeting. On May 22, 2025, an older white man disrupted Council’s Emergency and Community Services, profanely yelling against the inclusion of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility in the Community Safety Plan. Hamilton Deputy Chief of Police Paul Hamilton escorted that individual out of City Hall.
At 9:45 a.m. during today’s Board of Health meeting, captured on video, the man entered the Council Chamber and immediately began using slurs.

Ward 2 Councillor Cameron Kroetsch, who chairs the Board of Health, immediately told the man to “please leave the Chamber.” When the man continued making slurs, security began to approach him, prompting him to leave voluntarily.
On his way out, he yelled, “You’re all a bunch of f***ing a**h***s.”
The disruption prompted immediate condemnation from city officials.
Kroetsch stated the City does not tolerate such behaviour.
“Someone just came into the Council Chamber just now and uttered a bunch of hate speech,” he said. “To anyone who had to listen to that, I’m sorry. It’s awful. It was disgusting. We don’t tolerate that kind of behaviour in the Chamber.”

I like how they made sure, “older white man” was used to show what race this man is. Yet when gang crimes, home invasions and car jackings happen we never see what race the perps are. NEVER! Yet the media will go out of it’s way to show when a white person does something. Very much a double standard in this country.
If I have this information, I publish it.
I am not republishing the man’s statements because doing so will severely impact my website’s evaluation by sites such as Google – the man’s statements clearly crossed into hateful speech.
