Hamilton Conservation Authority Foundation Chair André Chabot says the charitable foundation has reached 95 per cent of its annual fiscal year fundraising goal, with four months to go.
“The Foundation received a total of $9,588 in new donations from June 1st to June 30th,” Chabot told the Conservation Authority Board of Directors on July 3.
“This includes a $5,000 gift from the Rotary Club of Ancaster AM in support of the Dundas Valley trails. This brings our fiscal year to date fundraising total to $805,894, which is 95 per cent of our annual goal.”
The Foundation’s annual goal is approximately $848,000. Its fiscal year runs from December to November.
