Embedding Health Equity Methods and Analysis in Hamilton Public Health Reporting
At the April 28 Public Health meeting, the committee unanimously approved a motion directing staff to include “health equity data” in all future reports. City staff state they will now include “a subsection titled ‘Health Equity Data’ in the Analysis section of the Public Health Sub-Committee Report template,” all reports after July 28 will have this analysis.
Updates to Bylaw Prohibiting Smoking and Vaping within City Parks and Recreation Properties
The annual update to the bylaw prohibiting smoking and vaping within City parks includes adding the addresses of five new parks.
