In a staff update to Council, Acting Chief Planner Anita Fabac writes the City must complete multiple studies before finalizing an inclusionary zoning bylaw.

A Housing Needs Assessment was completed in 2023, the next report to Council will be Market Feasibility Study.

Following this, there will be public consultation periods on IZ, with the “final recommendation report, including a more detailed implementation/administration process is anticipated to be presented to Planning Committee by the beginning of Q2 of 2025.”
