Hamilton’s Municipal Heritage Committee approved issuing heritage permits for the installation of security bollards around Hamilton City Hall to prevent the potential of a vehicle attack. Members lamented the reality that bollards are required, discussed how they will be installed, and approved the permit in a unanimous vote.

Council approved the $682,000 project in March.
